Taz Thornton is a best-selling author and media personality, featured on BBC radio, ITV and Sky, as well as in countless magazines and newspapers. Having appeared twice in the DIVA Power List, Taz was named the UK's Best Female Coach in 2018 and was named as one of the UK's most inspiring business women in 2019, as well as winning an award for her speaker-training retreats. Often referred to as the ‘Pink-haired Powerhouse’, Taz is an internationally-renowned speaker, appearing on stages across the UK, as well as Italy, Sicily, Spain and France.
In late 2019, Taz was invited to deliver her third TEDx talk - A Dangerous Rainbow - where she spoke of the ongoing quest for equality, the "liberal bind spot" and the perils of assuming everything was 'okay' for people who identified as LGBTQIA.
When she’s not running life-changing, motivational workshops or 1-1 coaching sessions, helping people to #UnleashYourAwesome, she’s often to be found leading groups safely over fire and broken glass and sharing invaluable life lessons on her 14 month programme, which blends personal development tools with ancient shamanic teachings and the medicine wheel.
She most recently launched an online chat show, #TazTalks, where she discusses mental health and positivity with celebrity guests, including Heather Peace, Tanni Grey-Thompson, Caprice, Chris Packham, Tanya Bardsley and Catherine Russell.
Taz lives in Lincolnshire with her wife, Asha, and their five furchildren.
